My name is Javiera Muñoz, a third year English Pedagogy student. I am writting you let you know about my concern about crime which is affecting considerably to the people in our society.
The problem that very worries me is that we can not be just us, just relaxed and comfortable in streets or even inside of our houses. We need to be always aware of what could happen or if somebody is trying to steal something to you. I do not think it is the way i want to live my life either the way i want the people who i love to do so.
I think you need to improve your laws and enforce them. They are useless if not followed. Therefore there wont be any positive change. I know this is a big challenge wich contains economy and educational issues, but if not do it now, never will be done. So this is the time finally somebody do something for our country.

classroom environment

The video is about a teacher who ask for advice in classroom manage and organization. In his class, he groups students but they distract each other.
Miranda, the reporter, goes to one of the best schools in england. There she talks with the headteacher of the school and he gives her some advices. About the disruptive boys problem, it is difficult because what works in one group it does not in other. It is an issue of personalities. So, mixing children of strong personality with children of shy personality,should be a possible solution. About displays, they show how children are involved in the process of learning. It mainly helps children of the school who’s mayority is learning english as a second or third language. This methods are taking from examples of others schools where they attend to get new and useful ideas. Also teachers do courses, read educational literature, magazines, etc.
The reporter goes to another school where everything is totally different. They are working in evaluating the design of the classroom doing a campaing of learning environment, which should be attractive and bright to stimulate the students learning. They interact with their students asking them what is what distract them and they say: the displays. So it is something that differs from each environment. About environment, they work with students to improve class order. In this, temperature, lighting, air, access to water affects in learning.
Then an orthoscopic is asked about the subject and he says: that in classroom design, visual environment affects the students’ performance, though there is not an ideal design. It is also divided in special needs learning and other factors that makes the difference in learning strategies. As a general advice, he gives two main points to follow: the first, students should be sitted facing the teacher. The second is about lighting conditions.

give it a try...its better that way
i can recognize that i can be rude too at sometimes when its necessary and when someone is provocatting, but not just because. The thing is that people need learning and practicing good manners, to be willing to have a good and nice attitud. People is very rude with others, usually without a reason. One example would be when we are at the subway and people crush you, yell to you, hit you, and try to find anything that can bother you to start a fight.
Its true, first getting up so early to go to work or to classes, the amount of people that you can find in the subway, the problems that delay your arriving, external problems, etc; affects your mood, your sense of humor, that makes you to have a bad disposition for living the day. But why not everybody tries, at least, to be nice with others and of that way you can create a good and nice environment that makes you be more relaxed, calm, etc.

everybody's task...
Because of parents’s excesive job children are getting, fat, lazy and misbehaved. Parents are so in their jobs that they forget they have the big work of having a kid and raising it. How children stay alone or even when parents are in home, they have nobody who takes care of them or teach them, for example, how to study, rules at home, rules at school, manners, etc. All this problem produce in children,its taken to the school, to teacher’s hands, because parents dont take care of them. So, why teachers have to do all the work? Withing teaching its involved three participants. They are: pupils, parents and teachers. And in order to have a good education this three actors need to give part of them to success. It would be too difficult for each teacher to deal with this because they are at least 40 pupils, as a minimun quantity of students in a classroom, to be worried for each of them. Education is a group work!

This is me...
I am javier muñoz, a 20 year old girl who is triying to continue with her study and with her life. i live in puente alto with my parents and one of my three brothers. I really enjoy going to concerts, hunging up with my friends anywhere, being with my boyfriend, meeting new people, trying new things, sleeping, doing nothing, and mostly travelling. I really enjoy travelling and visiting new places anywhere, for example i have hike two times, first with two friends and this last summer with my boyfriend. We had a really good experience and this trip really helped to get to know better eachother. It was like a reunion because i had just coming back from Europe, one of my last trips abroad.
The first time i travelled was to Toronto, Canada. I went to do english classes in a language institude in mornings then i had all day to do what i wanted. The second time i went in a winter work programm from the YMCA. I worked in the resort Snow mountain ranch of the rockies, in the rockie mountains, but i also travelled to New York city with three friends i met working in there. The last trip i did was last october. I went in a working programm too, but this time i went to London, England. I also went to Walles and France. I was going to do a tour around europe, to almost every country, but i had some problems that didnt allowed me to.
